As a resident of the East Coast, this story has gone viral here. I applaud Sam for his amazing efforts to raise awareness and money for such a good cause! We should never discourage our young people for being the change we wish to see my n the world!

They should be ashamed of themselves! Picking on a kid doing good and not drugs or such! Shame, let the haunt go on!

A young man is setting a good example for his community raising donations and showing hard work and dedication and maturity in all of this. Allow him the few months to make something all can enjoy.

sam is such an amazing young entrepreneur he has his heart in the right place. He's been cleared by the fire marshal, he has permits from the city, how can one neighbor hold him hostage? Please allow him to carry on.

Let's not let this kid's good will die because one person can't see past his own nose.

What is the big deal? It is only once a year. Let us support our teens! My grandsons in Albany love it.

I hope the neighbors and Sam can work out a compromise that will appease the neighbor's discomforts around this project and will still allow Sam and his team to pursue this project.

So amazed of people like Sam who create a fun event for others to enjoy while raising money for those in need. Better than many other teenagers getting in with the wrong crowd. Shame on this neighbor. I hope his child's passions and hobbies are never attempted to be thwarted.

It does my heart good to see kids a similar age as my little brother pushing the limits of creativity and productivity. This is the kind of thing we need for our future.

Save this haunted house! This event only happens once a year, so the neighbors should stop being a party pooper and relax. Have they complained about the annual Solano Stroll ,too? Lol
