It was terribly disappointing that Stanford was not required to establish a maximum build-out as required under the 2000 GUP. We need to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

The analysis of the regional impact on the housing shortage should take into consideration Stanford's projects that are under construction and in the approval pipeline (e.g., Redwood City campus, Menlo Park projects on Sand Hill Rd and El Camino Real, Quarry building)

A maximum build out plan is a necessity. Currently the over development feels unending. Surrounding cities are being negatively impacted. Creating some permanent open space is essential.

Building out infrastructure to support any new growth needs to be implemented. That means better alternative transportation, more schools for Stanford that will not overburden local schools, and enforceable plans to reduce traffic into the neighborhoods.

We are a Stanford family with many Stanford friends AND we oppose this absurdly huge expansion. Palo Alto is already too overdeveloped and we are constantly suffering gridlock. Just say NO to this and keep saying NO.
