I've lived along Alpine for 10 years and traffic is unbearable. The only relief is when Stanford is on winter break for 2 weeks. It is so unsafe and we need to think about the long term impact on this unique community.

We cannot sustain more of Stanford's out of control growth. Our quality of life is important and it's being severely diminished by Stanford growth.

The Academic Growth Boundary should be defined and permanent. Real mitigation for today's traffic problems attributable to current and ongoing Stanford development is a logical starting point. Rail and more shuttles are not going to solve this.

I am against any kind of expansion of Stanford unless they add infrastructure: i.e. roads, grocery stores, fire fighters, health clinics, gas stations, etc. to their development.

"The Farm" is turning into something quite unlike what Jane Stanford envisioned. The least the University can do is to preserve pockets of undeveloped land and lend a human scale to this never-ending construction site. Please permanently protect the Dish area and other foothill properties. Please set - ASAP - a max buildout blueprint for your lands.
