Stanford needs to pay it's fair share based on it's impact to the surrounding community which includes infrastructure, housing and schools. Part of their value is being located in a thriving community and they need to be an active contributor.

With all the financial, intellectual and business resources, Stanford must do its share to improve not diminish the quality of life in our community.

Stanford is a huge mega business not a mere a University. A mega business that has more money then the majority/if not all Universities. 100% of housing needs need to be met on campus, they can afford it! A permanent open space guarantee for the foothills; all should be conditions of approval.

Please do not allow Stanford to do to Palo Alto what Facebook has done to Menlo Park. Do not allow the needs of the University to destroy the community.

Let's ensure Stanford continues to invest in the housing as well as academic demands!

Maximum build out commitment in the core campus, 100% of housing needs met on campus, permanent open space guarantee for the foothills; all should be conditions of approval.

Both Stanford and Palo Alto seem oblivious to the inadequecy of present infrastructure. That needs to come first. Forget present expansion--Stanford will be a fine University without more space. Expand elsewhere that needs more educational resources and development.

Stanford should have a limit on its expansion.

Impact to current residents is huge; this is not an area of commercial business, it is residential and it should be kept that way. Please deny Stanford's application.

My neighborhood, Stanford Weekend Acres, serves as a mini-freeway to access the 280 freeway to to access Stanford. With only two lanes, we have double the number of cars and trucks on our little Alpine Road segment than the four-lane Sand Hill Road. Stanfords and Santa Clara County's tremendous expansion plans can kill our small community. Please use your common sense and kidness when you consider Stanfords expansionist proposals.

Preserve the open space permanently.

It is about doing what is right. Stanford cannot continue to grow indefinitely without seriously compromising our quality of life on the Peninsula.

Adding over 3,000 cars on Alpine Rd. is dangerous!

Supervisors, please vote your conscience on this. This level of growth can't continue. We are already seeing so much overcrowding and terrible traffic. Please vote for what is best for the residents of this area!

I whole heartedly endorse this petition and urge the supervisors to vote honestly, not just continuously vote at stanford pushes you. Stand for the community, not just for Stanford... ron miller
