Support student choice. Support higher education reform.

If I have to start paying fees I am unable to complete my degree. I chose a degree because at the age of 56 years old it is difficult to get a job. I only have 6 months left. Perhaps I should just give up, get onto Centrelink and tell the government I cant get a job to pay them back hecs fees for the past three years.

I support the ability for a student to have choice and would like to see a level playing field in what i pay for my course.

I am a student at a non university higher education provider and this institution has an exisiting long history within Australia of providing excellent tuition and relevant study to chosen career. Many students inclusive of myself will be a great disadvantage with the proposed government changes. I highly disagree with these changes, they are not conducive to our Australian choices

I want to be able to have the same support as other students even though I want to study at a school that is not a public uni because it better suits what I want to do

Give 'all' students in Australian universities a chance to reach their career aspirations & goals.

I am all for the reform. Why do student in the private sector have to pay so much more?

Access to higher education is and should remain a fundamental right for every Australian citizen who aspires to it and not just for those who can afford to pay for it. To do otherwise and exclude by "any" exclusive selection is an unjust and unfair policy proposal.

This is totally unfair on middle class families like us

Help all students trying to better their lives.

This is not fair. I am a student, one of the many who are just trying to learn and follow my passion.

Consistency in funding is required

I have been studying with the ACAP (Bach of Social Science). I have found this college is exceptional in helping me achieve the education requirements I need to continue on my pathway to better counselling in the community both paid and volunteer capacity. I will receive the equal value degree with ACAP as with the public system, therefore believe I am entitled to the same govt financial support. I think I should not be disadvantaged for choosing a college that suits my needs. Please pass the governments higher educations reforms so I can continue with the college of my choice.

but uts ok for his daughter to get a scholarship & never have yo worry about payments. never mind about lower&working class.

Abbot is shooting himself in the foot. He is an uneducated fool. He's trying to stop people living on welfare while forcing more people on to welfare with job cuts, higher costs etc. And he obviously he calls himself a Christian but knows absolutely nothing about God and the bible.

We choose these learning institutions because they suit our educational goals, career aspirations and personal circumstances.

I absolutely agree with the petition. There should not be discrimination in financial support between different schools as long as they have been accepted to a certain standard.

This is supposed to be a country that believes in freedom, and true freedom is choice!

This is so unfair, I'm so upset this is happening.
