The SRO program is laudable, to remove it would be irresponsible.

I work in the elementary school & closely with the SRO. It was wonderful to have him in my classroom supporting the teachers & students. Whom looked forward to seeing him there & the hallways

This was an important person to me when I was in school. He always listened to both sides of every situation and made decisions to help both sides. Safety and fairness is needed to make sure students are treated well when not in their parents' presents.

Absolutely. Community SRO are imperative to build positive strong relationships between our youth and our EPD. We need to stop looking at officers as a negative thing. If you don’t break any laws, you won’t have issues with the police. End of story!
