I have had 3 kids graduate from lhs. I now have a junior and and 8th grader at CMS. I don't believe making the school district hang on to this school will help anyone!! I believe selling it will help the kids of livermore school district and help the area in which the school is located! It won't be sight for sore eyes, it won't be vandalised anymore and the residents can have beautiful homes built.

The land could become a small experimental mixed-use housing community, balanced by the surrounding homes. Something to add value to Livermore and to the neighborhood.

A sensible idea.

Will look much nicer than it does now.

I would like to see housing go up instead of a refurbished school. The ideal use would be for a park, but we've been told that it isn't a viable option.

This is a well thought out project with many benefits to the community. The developer has worked closely with the neighborhood.

Infill of new homes to this area will bring value to the neighborhood and opportunity for new families to enjoy Livermore within walking distance to elementary, middle and high schools. I support this project.

I'm in favor of selling the Sonoma School Site for development of single family homes. We desperately need money for our schools. Reasonably sized single family homes are needed to keep our city vibrant and economically sustainable. It's a win-win!

I support the sale of this property. It's a hazard in it's abandoned boarded up state. They now have security day and night.

I am surprised that Sonoma hasn't been sold already. There is no valid argument for keeping this property. But the reasons to sell are numerous. Please review the proposal again; consider that the existing Sonoma property is a nuisance to police, fire and neighbors. Please recognize that the sale can provide benefit to many needed programs for our local schools as well as housing programs.

I fully support the sale and rezoning of Sonoma. It is a financial drain on the district and taking away resources from other district needs.

Please approve the sale. The development company has gone over & beyond in doing exactly what the majority of the community wants & prefers. This sale will benefit all LVJUSD students.

Rezoning this site is the responsible thing to do.
