Please continue to share the beauty of this beach with families large and small that vacation here throughout the year. I share my memories each time I visit, and I hope others will one day have the opportunity to bring their kids, enjoy the beaches, the food, and the understand the joy Sandbridge has always provided us. As another signer has mentioned, out house is intended for responsible use and the enjoyment of the Sandbridge area. We would like to maintain the ability to offer our house for others to enjoy in this way.

Our house is intended for the quiet use of responsible guest to enjoy times together with their families. Most come together from various locations and use their time at the house as a family reunion. We carefully monitor the property and screen guests. We believe that this type of use is exactly what is good for Sandbridge both economically for the businesses and for the property values for all home owners in Sandbridge. Please don't lump all home use into a category of usage that is being described as detrimental to the area. If you follow that logic then you would need to ban any homeowner in Sandbridge from having their family over for dinner or to visit for the holidays. That obviously makes no sense. Please do not allow a few people to drive such a sweeping change as this to the harm of a large group of people.

We own a home in Sandbridge and have never experienced problems with so-called "event homes." Implementing a selective & restrictive ordinance that unwinds years of existing law and forces Sandbridge to operate as a residential street as opposed to the modern resort village that it has become would be a colossal error with devastating consequences to the county tax collector, Sandbridge residents, vacationers, business owners, and the local economy.

There are already laws on the books to deal with groups that get out of hand. Do not punish law abiding citizens who simply want to gather together and lawfully celebrate special occasions within the bounds of decency and decorum. If there are specific issues, address them, but a ban would be throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

I have been an owner at Sandbridge since 1986!
And I feel the current situation is fine. The beach hotels are behind the reduction of event homes!

My house is sandwiched between four "event" houses. I have found all very friendly, respectful and courteous, with all very cognoscente of neighbors

We don't have an event home, but don't want to see them banned. That would banish Sandbridge to 2nd class status, at best, as a vacation destination.

Keep having special events in Sandbridge Homes!!! Memories that last a lifetime are made in Sandbridge.
We had a family reunion a few years ago at Sandbridge Beach with family coming from Maryland, Mississippi, and Virginia. It was the first time Mom, her four children and their families had all been together since Dad passed away. Our time in the Sandbridge house was an amazing time of fun and laughter, sharing memories, relaxation, and healing. I keep being asked when we are going to do it again.
It would be a shame to have to tell them that we were no longer allowed to be together in Sandbridge.
