I have owned homes in Sandbridge for the past 14 years and have never had a problem with any of my guest turning the home into a "party house". We only rent to Families to insure that the people renting in Sandbridge are their for a vacation and not to "Party" in the sense that the complainers are indicating.

We have attended a wedding at Sandbridge and enjoyed it immensely. In act, seeing the beach and the area prompted us to vacation there this year. It would be a shame to deny the area the exposure and disappoint many by not allowing these events to be celebrated there. The majority of these people are thoughtful to the environment and are friendly people.

The solution is respect for each other. No one owns the beach-it should belong to everyone. If a certain realty company is causing problems by renting out homes to groups that are not being respectful of others space, then that issue needs to be addressed with the owner/ management company that is responsible. Eliminating vacationers and guest is throwing the proverbial baby out with the bathwater. My 2 cents anyway.

We had a lovely wedding for my daughter on the beach...there were no problems...we had a small family wedding and the neighboring families seemed to enjoy it too....you should not stop having weddings and family events on the beach

Outright ban hurts all the supporting businesses in the area. My $.02, it seems like there should be a compromise. Given the primary complaints, here are a couple suggestions: Overflow parking for more cars over the number of bedrooms should use a lot. (Deal to be negotiated) Quiet hours after 10 pm weekdays, 11:30 pm weekends.

There should be a cap on number of people allowed at beach houses due to limited parking and neighbors since these are not hotels... perhaps keep it down to 50 to avoid major parking issues and do not allow vendors such as DJs and porta potties on site due to being in a neighborhood . We do many beach weddings but primarily with groups of 50 or less.

There is a group of us that come every year and have a great time. We would definitely miss it if we could not come and rent one of the beautiful homes Sandbridge offers. I do think they have a right to be heard and we all need to respect each other. Maybe more surveillance of homes and how the groups are parking and partying,might be helpful.

I've been vacationing in Sandbridge for years and now have legal aged ,unmarried children.If one of them desired to me married in Sandbridge i would hate to see them denied

We are returning to Sandbridge after having vacationed in the Outer Banks last year. Sandbridge is far superior to it and and to eliminate special events would drive vacationers to the Outer Banks.
