We live in Virginia Beach and have rented a home for a wedding. We loved the location and our guests have booked to come back to Sandbridge on vacation. Don't change anything!

Our family vacations in Sanbridge almost every year. We love to see the wedding parties! There are already laws on the books that take care of noise or disorderly conduct issues. Keep the weddings!

We vacationed in Sandbridge last fall and there was a wedding party which rented adjoining houses to us and it was very neat to see everyone enjoying such a wonderful occasion. I think it is a wonderful place for everyone to share the houses and be more relaxed for a destination wedding. I hope it continues!

Keep Sandbridge open to Special Events and Family Reunions. The city just needs to enforce the laws they already have. VA Beach is trying to create a new law because they don't have the man power to enforce the laws there already have. Virginia Beach taxes are low, because of all the people coming into town and spending their money. Now you what them to go somewhere else? WE Don't need anymore laws!

The Dollbabies (a group of writing women) have been vacationing in Sandbridge since 2005. We've seen many weddings over the years. One of our tribe rented the same house we use for a family reunion. Keep it alive!

This will be the seventh year my family has rented a house at Sandbridge. We look forward to coming here each summer to enjoy the beautiful beach, bay and nature areas. Each visit has been peaceful, relaxing and allows us to reconnect with each other. I have found the people here to be friendly and respectful of the rules of the community.
It is a special place and I would hate to see an end to the weddings and special occasions that are held here throughout the year.

I have rented houses right on the beach in Sandbridge many times and love it there. I have observed wedding ceremonies on the beach a few times and they don't bother me at all. They are usually quiet and short. How can anyone not like a celebration of love! I find the beach wedding ceremonies a bonus to an afternoon sitting on the beach - and I didn't even have to wear heels.
