Sandbridge is a lovely area for such things as weddings re unions etc.
So many other areas along the sea board are so restrictive that is what made or help make our decision.

Our complete family has been celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, reunions, honeymoons and just summer fun at Sandbridge since the 70's! How can this stop??

My extended family has vacationed here for the past 9 years and love the fact that it has homes that can hold the whole clan. In all these years we have never been disturbed by a wedding or special function. I can't imagine that the proximity to the military bases make it a desirable venue. I think you would be doing our servicemen/women a disservice by no longer allowing wedding/special events.

My family and I have been visiting Sandbridge for numerous years now and have shared many wonderful memories there. We are disenchanted with the fact that Weddings and other special events will no longer be allowed there because it just happens my fiancé and I were planning to celebrate our nuptials there next April 2017. It is for this reason we are writing to not only support the above petition in support that Sandbridge be able to keep these events open to the home renters but to understand that for many the se homes present an opportunity for a couple of days, weeks, or months to share beautiful memories in a extremely beautiful and scenic venue among family and friends. PLease don't deprive our families from sharing our special moment and dream! Thank you!

As a Virginia Beach resident my entire life. I have worked for ten years at Margie and Rays restaurant and my children work at Sandbridge Island restaurant, Our city has always been welcoming to visitors looking to have a fabulous vacation outside off the strip with its motels and hotels. We cater to the families and larger parties because the homes accomadate. T

I got Married in Sandbridge, have family that got married there. I also had to stay at the condos for a bit. Special events are great there!

We visited Sandbridge for the first time this summer and fell in love with it. Not sure why anyone would want to ban weddings and other special occasions.
