First and foremost, the Garrett's are associated with other successful businesses in the area, including a restaurant. All are highly respected and valued additions to their area business community. I'm sure we can rest assured that they will operate this business in the same professional manner. When the project is completed, I personally can't see where it will be much different than it was as a restaurant and wedding venue under Mr. Dedek, Neither should it have any change in "impact" on the adjoining properties. Second, if I understand it correctly, if denied by the Town, ultimate approval will be issued by the state, which will automatically remove forever Town zoning jurisdiction over the immediate area and transfer that authority to Albany, further complicating future zoning issues and resolutions in that area of the Township.. Even up here, in many areas, we are not, or never will be, far enough removed from Albany. Just like SASS, the only time they recognize our existence in on April 15th and when they want to take something away from us.

Clayton has been building itself back up in recent years. This would be a big boost with such a beautiful property.

They got all kinds of financing & changing zoning laws to build the Hotel in the village, the town should be grateful that someone wants bring back such a beautiful place that will proudly add to the beauty of the area. The Board should try to help in any way possible, not send people into limbo, try to make Clayton as vibrant as it used to be. Get on board!
