Another reason economic development in NY is weak, local town officials just want to collect their pay and most importantly health benefits but not perform or " rock the boat" in fear of not getting reelected start doing your jobs local town officials and support people like the Garretts create meaningful economic development.

Clayton is a growing community that has the opportunity to make this beautiful river town even better. The owners of Saint Lawrence Spirits have taken a beautiful property that was vacant and invested time into turning the building and grounds into a viable addition to the area. Thank you Garrett's for turning the historic Fairview Manor into an appealing venue for residents and visitors!

We are summer residents only but we pay taxes in Jefferson Co. So hopefully my vote will count! Not sure why the zoning laws changed as it was a failed eating establishment prior to this!

This is one of the hardest working, innovative couples I have ever met. They have proved their ability to run several successful businesses! Let them do it!

All the work being done looks great! As a restaurant it was open to the public, why is it not open to the public now? Good Luck.

What a wonderful idea to open this to the community.. I grew up in that area and I can remember as a child riding past there on my families way to the ice rink and always thinking that's where the nuns live. opening this would be a great asset to everyone to enjoy... Good luck
