Support Rt.15 Widening

As a resident of Lucketts, I fully support widening Route 15 to four lanes.

I have yet to encounter a single resident of Raspberry Falls that opposes Route 15 widening.

Why is this petition being hosted by someone who lives in an area off 15 that’s already been approved for 4 lanes?

I've lived in Lucketts for 25 years and roads have become increasingly dangerous and impossibly congested while development continues. Road widening and improvements are imperative. I have a friend who's still recovering from a deadly accident on Rt. 25 in Lucketts a year ago.

The improvements are 20 years overdue. The road is not safe, listen to the people that actually live off the road and travel it on a daily basis not people that live in other parts of Loudoun who are buying land to prevent the widening.

Please don’t let outside / non residents groups sway this effort.

Get moving before complete gridlock

We strongly support this petition and hope it won't take years to get started. We suggest that the Planning Board sit on Rt. 15 more often to get first-hand experience, but most importantly, injury and death must prevented.

The time to make this happen is now! As a frequent traveler of this route to visit family, we've spent far too long trying to get to the river. So many near misses in potentially fatal accidents, my children and family are not safe traveling this road. Please make the changes now.
