Support Rt.15 Widening

Time to make improvements before more people die and get hurt on this road. We support widening with shoulders and a median!

The time to oppose building along the 15 corridor has come and gone. We now need the infrastructure the population requires.

"We need to ensure this road is safe and can get homeowners, residents, and employees to where they need to go in a safe and efficient manner."

This is the only Route we can travel to visit our Grandchildren. Please increase to four lanes.

We understand that there are a small group of residents along the 10 mile stretch of road that will be affected by this change, and they are expressing their displeasure with each opportunity. While we all empathize with their situation, we know that this improvement safeguards thousands as they commute to and from work, visit family and friends, and engage in commerce in Loudoun County. With the growth of our county, this upgrade is long overdue and now an imperative. Please do not let any more delays impact this expansion.

Have lived in Northern VA for 25 years and Loudoun County for 17 years. Love Loudoun and know that since 2000, we've seen tremendous growth (240,000 residents to over 420,000) and attract a lot of employers to set up shop here. We need to ensure this road is safe and can get homeowners, residents, and employees to where they need to go in a safe and efficient manner.

Fix the dang road it's awful

Please do not delay this any more. I have lived in Loudoun County my entire life and the road has just continued to get worse and worse. This is not just a commuter issue but a resident issue. Developers will build whether there is a road to support it or not. We need to get ahead of the growth as we are already 20 years behind

I do support the 2 lanes in both directions. The road was never designed for the current use.

Needs to happen

We need to expand 15 to accommodate traffic, with Maryland commuters being a major part of the problem, Virginia needs to set up a toll for the Maryland commuters crossing the point of rocks bridge to help pay for this expansion!!

Route 15 North can be a beautiful, safe, scenic road and still accommodate the capacity for current residents, tourists and commuters. It's no longer possible to try and turn back the clock on the growth of Loudoun County. Loudoun County Econimic Development Team has brought in many new successful businesses with employees that LOVE living in Loudoun County. Visit Loudoun has done a fantastic job bringing tourists into our area to enjoy the many entertaining options. The Journey Through Hallowed Ground and small businesses should only benefit from having a safe road. This area is not overwhelmed by housing developments but it DOES provide access into the county for commuters, tourists and residents. We have an amazing county with great job opportunities and a county with unique small businesses, restaurants, wineries, breweries and farm markets. This section of route 15 is special! 2 lanes and a large landscaped median will provide the much needed safety standards that VDOT has recommended for over 20 years. The large medians that would divide the lanes would provide a safer access to over 100+ residents that live directly on 15. Let's work together to build a beautiful roadway that is safe for all residents, family, friends and guests!!! Let's also get this Ferry open. People are now having to drive an additional 20+ miles because the Ferry is closed.

We live off route 15 in Lucketts and support expansion. This road is way over capacity and dangerous.

Stop the studying, start the work already. This has become a joke.

Needs to be a 4 lane limited access hwy from MD to Rt29. No stop lights or traffic circles
