I don't know what is behind this decision but I do know that my family chose Rollins Pond this summer partly due to the on-site boat rentals and were very disappointed, and felt a bit deceived, when we found out the day before that there are no boat rentals at Rollins Pond. We did end up renting from Hickocks but it wasn't the same at all as having them right there, and hauling them over from Hickocks without a truck was too logistically complicated so we ended up simply paddling from there. Ironically, we never even made it all the way back in the kayaks to Rollins Pond! Although we have a reservation for next summer we will likely look elsewhere if there is no boat rental at Rollins pond. We don't have a truck or a trailer so bringing enough boats for our family group is not viable. Thank you.

Please continue to do so!! Not all of us have the means to pull a camper and still have a boat to use. Renewing this makes everyone's camping experience so much better. It would be a shame to not have this available.

Rollins Pond won't be the same without renting from this family. My husband introduced me to Rollins Pond 28 years ago and we've camped there at least 8 times always renting first thing. Please don't change this tradition.

The family does a great service for the campers at rollins pond. I always camp at fish creek but I usually rent my canoes at rollins. Leave well enough alone>>whenever the state gets involved in anything like this they always screw things up.....

As an avid boater, I am familiar with the commitment and investment that is required to have an excellent boat rental concession at a location like Rollins Pond, Myself and my family have been camping on Rollins Pond since it opened, my grandparents on fish creek from the early days. The boat concession on Rollins Pond is one of the better in all the public and private camping that I have done. Keep Rollins Pond as a preferred location by retaining the current concession owners.

The Pagelow Family boat rental has been as much of any welcoming part of Rollins Pond and feel it is wrong to end what they have provided for all these years.

My family, have camped at Rollins Pond for many years and the vendors are an integral part of the place. Our children and many others have learned to kayak using a boat from the on site livery. Please keep the livery available for future camping families!

Been going there for over a decade. Rent kayaks for the entire week. The trips,the fishing,the memories..... Please don't take this all away. I will never go back. Find someplace closer. I drive 6 hours

The boat launch, ice cream trailer and ice/wood deliveries are the best part of this campground. Business will suffer if you do not renew these contracts
