I have used them in the past and they were always very easy to deal with. They provide a valuable service to Rollins Pond.

Hopefully wiser heads in Albany will get involved and continue this wonderful service for us campers. The State of New York should not interfere with this well run business after all these years.

This has been here for generations, and it was originally established by invitation from the State. Please do not shut this down over a technicality. We're planning a Scout trip to the Adirondacks next summer (from Maryland). These kind of facilities are important for ventures such as this.

We have rented here for years. It would be a shame to close this business. It doesn't hurt anyone and is a tradition for so many of us.

I am informed that the boat rental facility's contract at Rollins pond won't be renewed due to a complaint about independent vendors in NYS campgrounds despite RP's specific exclusion to the policy. My family has been camping at RP for over 40 years[ my In-Laws, my family, my sons families and my Grandchildren -- 4 generations. It is unsound to cancel boat rentals at RP, It is a water side campground and many families cannot store enough boats at home to utilize the park to its potential. Not having boat rentals is simply - stupid. At the very least, the current vendor, with 60 years experience, should get preferential treatment. i urge you to reconsider canceling such a valuable service. It's location inside RP is one of the reasons it has remained so popular.

If the DEC does not renew the permit for boat rentals on Rollins Pond they will be destroying the vacations and enjoyment of thousands of families who visit this park on a regular basis. We have been camping at Rollins for 45 years and we were drawn there not just for the natural beauty but also for the fact we could rent a boat or canoe and not have to worry about bringing one in. Please issue the permits necessary to insure the best park in the Adirondacks (in my opinion) stays the way I have enjoyed it for the last 45 years, thank you..

My family has been renting boats from this family for over 40 years .First we rented from the father who was a great guy that let us have two canoes for free one day when we wanted them for a few hours .Then we met his daughter who is so nice you feel like you know her you hole life . This year we met the grand daughter she was just as nice as mom . To go to Rollins pond and not see them at the boat ramp would be a shock ! The state wants to take it over ,and we all know how great thing run when the state is in charge .

we recently camped at Rollins Pond and was excited we could rent kayaks on the grounds. Small businesses need all the support they can get. Why wouldn't the permit be renewed?

Please renew the kayak permit. It is a part of our vacation that we look forward to every year. It would be tragic to not have this service available to campers!

Everyone can't bring a boat with them when going camping. These folks are friendly and have nice boats to rent at a reasonable price. Please allow them to stay in business.
