I worry about the safety

I am objecting to valet service at the front circle of 405 N. Wabash and the proposed 16 story condominium to be built over the garage.

I am particularly concerned that valet Parkersburg not be allowed to use the circular drive and that the drive not be used by customers for ride pickup and our door staff to summon cabs. It is already a circus. The drive is too small and the building too large.

We are in opposition the development at 403 N. Wabash based on primarily the safety of the residents of 405 N. Wabash. The Danger associated with the busy area is already troublesome, but adding more congestion, construction, and cars would ultimately lead to additional safety concerns – Most concerning is the accessibility for fire & rescue vehicles and pedestrian traffic in the area. In addition to the residents, this small circle driveway must support four or five hundred thousand individual s, who on foot walk through the area in a year! I'm also opposed to adding a valet station to this circle driveway, as it would create an unsafe area with valets leaving cars in the driveway and rushing in & out and increasing the danger of having impaired drivers leaving the tavern as our residents enter & exit the building down the driveway, especially with the loss of the sidewalks to Wabash. We need to "Speak up for Safety" now, before it’s too late!

I oppose the 16-story building plan at 403 N Wabash and the Beacon Tavern valet service.

It is difficult as it is to pick up and drop off in the Circle Drive due to traffic and pedestrians. This proposed new condo at 403 N.Wabash and valet service utilizing the circle drive will cause safety problems, disruption to daily life of the residents and more pollution.
