The Children's needed PIER 40 desperately to keeping growing they skills ability in the sports that they loved. If your take this spaced away of them, they would'n has other spaced near were they can development they activate SAFETY.

Pier 40 is a huge asset to the community.

We need to maintain soccer fields in Manhattan. We can't just dump everything to Randall's Island, that's not practical for weekday play

Provide our kids with the space and facilities so they can practice their favorite sports. Our children’s overall well-being and happiness should be our main concern, shouldn’t it?

Manhattan NEEDS fields that are easy access for kids traveling alone!

It should be a no-brainer to maintain and increase the number and quality of sports fields in Manhattan. If you don't care about the wellbeing of the population, it should convince you that these kind of amenities increase the value of the real estate around them

If we are converting more and more buildings into residential buildings designed for families (ie, St Vincent’s hospital) we need the infrastructure to support who is moving in (schools, fieldspace, etc)
