Support Quality Public Education through School Choice

I sign this for every family to be able to choose how to beat educate their child(ren). Public education doesn’t work for every child. Parents need to have the choice!

When ran effectively and honestly like Innovations Academy, charter schools are an integral part of student learning in CA!

Charter Schools provide choice for families. I work at Innovations Academy and my sons graduated from High Tech High. I am proud to be part of both learning communities. I applaud SDUSD innitiative up until now to provide diverse learning environments. Don't give up one of the unique qualities of this district. Make it about the kids not the money.

Our son "hated" school in Kinder. He is highly imaginative and creative. His Charter School, Innovations Academy helped him tap into his strengths as a writer and leader. He loves school now going into 7th grade... Please consider the children who thrive in an individualized learning approach. Dumping them into neighborhood schools is not the answer.

Both of my daughters succeeded because of charter schools. Taking away this option under political agenda is a narrow vision for the future of our society.

Educational choice is essential to meet the needs of ALL students! Charter schools provide quality education for all learners.

This is an unabashed attack on charter schools which are serving children in ways the district chooses not to, and allowing children to flourish under educational programs and practices which are not available through district schools. Our charter school offers programs and educational opportunities none of our local district schools offer, and should the charters be revoked, I expect no improvement of the district schools or programs to compensate for the removal of choice.

We are not robots and do not live in a box where life is black and white. Without educational choice, our children will be depressed and unhappy learners. Keep the fire lit - support charter schools!!

We will not go quietly into the night.. Charter schools are needed!

I’ve seen many families struggle in traditional public school settings and thrive in a charter school. Mine included. School choice is vital.

Vote for school CHOICE! Allow kids to be free to learn the way that’s best for them. This is about kids and their success please allow them that! We have been in public school and private school, my son is happier and has learned more during our homeschooling then he ever did during public school hours AND without the stress or peer pressure. Do t take that away from our family. Charter/ homeschool WORKS for these kids.

This is a vital option that serves a population of kids with special needs that do not thrive in a typical classroom. It has changed my daughter's life and revived her love for learning!
