I dont think that Any teacher or principal whose only doing the best job that they've bn assigned. Who gets terminated without a probable cause is unfair

Great administrators are hard enough to find and it is unreasonable to not keep Nick as he is in the top 3 of all administrators I have seen.

Mr. Schollmier is an excellent leader. He interacts with students, his staff & parents. He gives supervision, direction, correction which our students need which results in respect.

Your reason for termination of Principal Shollmeier is very vague, there are clearly MANY reasons for his job to be reinstated, that members in our school/community that voices are sharing. Unless there has been a violation or breach with Prinicipal Schollmeiers contract, the termination is bleak and uncalled for.

Shouldn’t of fired him in the first place, we need teachers that know how Dillingham works and knows the kids

At graduate school, Nick was a leader in the cohort. He stood out among several future principals. His intelligence and positivity are matched by his integrity. When so many rural Alaskan communities have revolving door administrations, you have a man raising his family there and you toss him aside? He cares about your community and is not interested in using you as a stepping stone. I wonder if you can say the same about your superintendent. Sounds like the wrong guy got fired to me.

What is going on? Reinstate Principal Schollmeier! I have only praise for the job he has done. I am going to speak for my daughter (Ms. Cindy) here. She worked for him for several years. She has nothing but the highest regards for the work that he does with the kids, staff, and community. I ask again, What Is Going On Here?! Reinstate!!

Reinstate him. Pretty clear to see how loved and appreciated he is in the community. I as others would appreciate the board to do the right thing and represent the best interests of the students, staff, and community.

Nick was always a pleasure to work with in BSSD and a stand up guy who did what's best for students and staff. The "powers that be" need to think of how this will make people not trust DCSD and the school system. Teacher retention will be difficult when someone like Nick is fired without cause. IF there is a "just cause" then it needs to be made known to show that the district IS looking out for its students and staff.

I worked at the elementary school as an aide and also worked with Nick while I was coaching. I have never seen such a positive and engaging learning environment in that school before he was there. Of course there was always many great teachers that taught there that made the school enjoyable and gave kids the opportunity to grow. I went to DES from K-5 when I was a kid and I know that was a while ago, it still is very easy to see how much has changed for the kids there. There is much more involvement for the kids with the vast amount of after school activities and during school activities that are there to help kids grow their knowledge in a positive environment. When I worked there, I’ve never met someone who was so involved with his colleagues either, nick made sure everyone was able to teach effectively and always had different group bonding activities between the teachers and staff as well. This will be a tremendous loss to the school both for the district, staff and most importantly the kids if Nick does not get reinstated.
