Please save this historic home. The history of the family and their contribution to the early fabric of Birmingham arts and culture should not be destroyed.

I've seen many variances granted for what seems like no good reason. This family has put in alot of money and effort to preserve this house and fit in with the neighborhood. Please consider what rich history this brings to Homewood and what a shame it would be to tear it down, which is what anyone else would do to it.

This is so disappointing. Please save the Pink House. So much of Homewood’s history is being lost everyday and losing so much character and charm. This is such a historic home and the family have a great plan to save it.

I’ve loved this home since I came to Birmingham for college. What a beautiful place that deserves the tender care this family has planned to give it!

Please save this wonderful piece of history! The town I live in was ravaged by a tornado years ago. It took away many of our historic homes and landmarks so don’t tear yours down willingly. I’ve followed the history and bits of progress via Instagram. Please give this family a chance to save this amazing home. Thank you.

Please reconsider this proposal. The Pink House is a staple of Homewood. Too many of our beloved historic properties are being demolished without reason or logic. This is one we can and should save. Let’s please work together to preserve Homewood’s history and charm.

The destruction of this historic cornerstone property in our state and the city of Homewood would be likened to tearing down the terminal train station downtown to build a highway that never got built. Travesty!

What a loss it would be to the city of Birmingham to lose this property to someone who cannot carefully preserve her charm and rich history. We must stop the tragic pattern in this city of handing off so many of our historical homes to developers who care nothing for preserving the stories that these homes tell about our city’s origins. Please let the Mobleys execute their plans!
