I fully support the Peters Township Teachers in their strike as they have the best interests of my children at heart. My wife and I will need the dedicated teachers in our School District to help our children reach their full potential.

My children as well as my niece are incredible teachers who selflessly give their time and money to give their students the best education. Anyone who thinks teachers work only 8 hours a day doesn't have a teacher in the family. Let's go peters support what makes you great!

Being an educator is not a job, it's a passion! Your students are your kids, and there is no higher calling! I truly feel that if negotiation details were kept confidential, that an agreement would be imminent. Make the details public once an agreement has been made. Each side should have complete trust in their negotiating team. Let's all be top class, just like PTSD, and get back to doing what's important...educating children. (I'm a retired teacher and I couldn't be prouder that I have made a difference in the lives of our most precious asset...our children!)

Decision makers and residents should look closely at the cost per student and outcomes achieved. Your hard earned tax dollars are well spent to build a high ranking school district. This strike is dismantling progress, causing irreparable organizational harm, and destroying the culture of high performance.
