As advocates, supporters, and/or individuals living with HIV we are signing this petition to tell Congress to dismiss the proposed HIV funding cuts for the reminder of the 2018 fiscal year under Trump Administration. The federal funding as provided many positive outcomes as it relates to the HIV epidemic in the United States. Research indicates that there has been a decrease in new cases, an increase in the amount of testing being completed, a decrease in newborns infected with HIV, etc. In order to continue to see these positive results we must have the proper funding. Therefore, Congress must allow for the funding to remain the same for 2018 fiscal year to continue to help the United States through the HIV epidemic.

funding for health should be the last thing on the chopping block. totally unacceptable.
This is completely wrong. Cutting funding for people who need medical help is a straight up disgrace.
People depend on this money just to stay alive. Dont even think about touching this budget.
THEY NEED THIS HELP. DO NOT CUT.
My uncle relies on these programs. It makes me so mad to see them try to take it away when he is doing so well on his meds.
