Current limits by insurers on length of therapies such as PT, OT, or Speech, and assistive services in the home can limit recovery and lead to longer dependence on a higher level of care that is more expensive in the long-ter.

People with acquired brain injuries can really benefit from a fund similar to what people with traumatic brain injuries have with the TBI Fund.

I agree with everything that a fund should be created.

This is such an important initiative that can positively affect the lives of not only those with qualifying injuries but their loved ones/caregivers.

This is extremely necessary. I was not aware that ABI patients were not included in current TBI Fund services. I receive services for my TBI care and the fund has done a lot for me. These patients need the same type of assistance.

This support is so needed. I have seen young adults living in nursing homes, when they should be living in the community. It’s truly a tragedy.

About time! The state should also include stroke in recreational opportunities/programs for the disabled. I was told that only developmental disabilities were included in such programs

My father had a devastating stroke that left him locked in. His life became a nightmare.

This MUST be passed - Those of us with relatives having this problem have no place to go for assistance.
