Since when do we intentionally limit competition. If a brick and mortar restaurant is worried about losing business to a food truck they must not regard their own product too highly.

I prefer food trucks over restaurants in most cases, because you can see how clean the area is as opposed to dining in a restaurant where you never see where your food is prepared.

I am all for Food Trucks, I understand that they may not be best suited on Palafox, but I don't see a problem with them being on the side streets as long as they are out of the way, It is a huge Trend in the up and coming cities, and we are one of those, we should allow them, it just makes for healthy competition in the industry and more food diversity!

I think it's healthy for the stimulation of the local economy. Food trucks do not have to go on Palafox Street, there is Bayview Park, the West side, fairgrounds and so much more. Food trucks can also be an attraction for our community!

Some of the most innovative and fun foods come from these trucks! I've been away from Pensacola a year and recently came back and must say I love the direction the city is heading. Pensacola wants to be an "artistic" and vibrant city? Then allow the natives to showcase that same spunk and passion in food!
