Chief Paul Montoya helped me when my child was being bullied. The school just told me they would keep an eye out. Nothing happened until Paul told we what I needed to do.

At first, I didn't care to much for him after hearing about why LPD let him go, but he has served our community well and do not want to see him go.

I am sick to think of the way the mayor and superintendent treated Chief Montoya! Paul Montoya has done Nothing but Good for the Hallsville Community, firing him would be like cutting off a part of Hallsville! I hope the people will not only stand with Chief Montoya but Pray for his reinstatement.
I believe the HIDD "officers " just got offended and made a Big deal out of Nothing and the superintendent and mayor didn't give Paul Montoya a fair deal!! If you're Not doing your job correctly and someone steps in to help..DON'T get your knickers in a twist!!

I don't know the background behind this, and I've only lived in Hallsville for a year, but from what I've seen he's very involved in the community and does a lot to stay connected. I can support that.

This is the SECOND ordeal that the City of Hallsville has put Chief Montoya through. He persevered the first time, and will do so again. Chief Montoya exhibits extraordinary loyalty to his job, his officers, his community, family and friends. Chief Montoya has my support and I strongly urge that Hallsville reconsider their position regarding his employment. Otherwise, the city will lose the main thread holding this community together. Stay strong, Chief Montoya. You are a man of good conscience and service to your fellow man, which is RARE to find these days.

Born and raised in Hallsville! Want my future children to go to school there, but not if we keep getting crappy superintendents who don't care about the kids. (Remember Greg Wright?!?!?)
