I think he is awesome and great for our community! He is amazing with the kids and so helpful during bad weather by getting out there and posting important information for us all. He does a lot for Hallsville every day! He is definitely a giver and truly cares about people and the community. None of this is right and none of it was handled right either. People in Hallsvile should have been given opportunity to voice their thoughts at the meeting.

I no longer live in hallsville, but my sister is still in school there. Seeing how much Paul Montoya has brought the community together warms my heart for my sister. There is no reason he should leave. He protects people. He inspires them. He gives them a sense of security in a world that is predominantly scared of police and that should be something the council is proud of. Don't take away hallsvilles security.

This whole thing is ridiculous. The people running Hallsville are corrupt. Two things I have seen them complain about Paul - the traffic that one day at school, and Paul pulling over a school bus. #1 my mother was there the day Hallsville was gridlocked and when Paul came thru and did what he did things finally started moving. How about instead of trying to get rid of the person who saved the day, you take some of your precious money and try to make Hallsville easier to navigate at 3:30 in the afternoon? Our roads are horrible, half the town is inaccessible at school let out time, and has been for quite some time. #2 he stopped a school bus because they did not come to a complete stop at the RR crossing. That is a rather large vehicle full of precious cargo that absolutely 100% needs to stop at all RR crossings. All he did was educate people that day, not hand out tickets left and right. He has done more for this community than Steve Eitelman ever has or ever will. Where was Steve on the day they had the community gathering for Noah? What a poor mayor you are that you cannot even come together with your entire community to support a child with cancer. Pathetic.

He is one of the reasons we were trying to move back to Hallsville. All he does for the people, students, kids of Hallsville. Bringing people together as a community. We wanted that for our family and now this

Paul Montoya is the best thing to happen to Hallsville. He brought a sense of closeness and pride to the Hallsville community. It makes me sick to know this has happened. Good luck getting reelected, Mayor. You have made a ton of enemies now.
