He deserves to stay on. He's dedicated and loves the people he helps. Obviously, some ppl don't love him back, but he still loves and cares, regardless.

If there are "other things" that caused the mayor and this council to take this action against Paul Montoya then the people of this community deserve to know and have the right to be told that information. I do not like the secrecy from the mayor or the council members. You were voted in by us and serve us as your constituents and by your lack of honest discourse I will have no problems voting you out.

I can't understand losing Montoya over traffic control didputes. He is a community assett. Give us the whole story, otherwise this makes no sense.

Everyone is not perfect, but I think Chief Montoya's heart is in the right place for the City of Hallsville. Instead of this pissing contest going on, I think the folks involved should address other issues, like the city's infrastructure, to alleviate the problems that led to this sad execution of politics.

Montoya has never been anything but kind and helpful in my dealings with him. He is approachable and will talk to you like a human vs cop and civilian.

Paul Montoya does amazing things for the community. They don't make police chiefs like him. There will never be a better fit. I personally applaud him for taking matters into his own hands to alleviate the congestion of the school traffic. It's a nightmare!!

This man is good for our community and the city of Hallsville. He has truly made a difference in my life and the life's of my family. I am disgusted with the superintendent of Hallsville ISD!
