Support Parking for ALL Residents

If you are a resident and buy a sticker should not be issue , crack down on the non residents

Residents BEFORE non residents! As long as they have a Manhasset parking sticker on their car, they should be allowed to park & pay!

Manhasset residents should be allowed to park in lot as long as they have a parking permit regardless of where they go .. work, school or shopping

I dont get why this became an issue now. Residents should be able to park there if they have the sticker and are paying the rate, simple as that.

I Support Manhasset Residents parking in the train lots even if they are Manhasset high school students. If they have a sticker they are good.

Absolutely signing and supporting this petition. As a Manhasset resident and taxpayer, it’s incredibly frustrating to see our own students penalized for using a parking spot we are already entitled to—with a valid resident sticker and payment of the daily fee. It’s especially unfair considering non-residents are being allotted 30 reserved spots, while our own kids—who may simply be parking for a commuting parent or using the lot temporarily—are being fined. This policy sends the wrong message. If residents are permitted two parking stickers per household and are following payment protocols, where the student walks afterward should not justify an $85 ticket. These lots are community resources funded by resident taxes. Restricting them in this way punishes families for simply trying to make daily logistics work—especially for working parents relying on their teens to help. Let’s support our families, not fine them.

Every resident of Manhasset should be allowed to park there especially if non residents can!!! Why make it harder for the students!

This is just unfair. Non-residents get spots reserved but residents are getting punished for parking in their own district. Makes no sense at all.

I agree that residence should be able to park up to two cars regardless of where they are headed.
