The subscription room is a magnificent venue and a tourist attraction for Stroud. It would be devastating to the art community if it were lost. What a shame if the venue is closed down in order to be sold off.

I would like to see breakdown of the £40,000 the SDC say they subsidise the Subs to the tune of.
Of course it must stay open BUT without the heavy hand of the SDC hovering over the place.

The sub rooms are the hub of Strouds arts scene. Keeping them open to all is essential as the gov reduce the arts in its national curriculum. Places like the subs help foster creativity- keep them open and accessible to all

Stroud is full of coffee shops ...at least keep ONE venue for people to see live performers ....
