Please do not allow the community to loose its Subscription Rooms. I attend events there every week and sometimes twice a week. It is a valued venue to dance and see excellent entertainment.

I whole heartedly support this cause- the Sub Rooms were built by the people of Stroud, for the people, and should remain with the public at its heart, not simply the profit margin.

The Subrooms must remain publicly owned. It is outrageous to be considering selling off this town centre resource; the only way to keep it safe for us now and in the future is public ownership.

The Sub Rooms is, was and always should remain at the heart of Stroud's lively (music) culture. Do the right thing and keep the Subs Subsidised!

The Subs is such an important town center venue providing such a variety of entertainment and many other services to the community! What are the numbers? What increase to our local taxes would safeguard it? Or do we as a community have to create a dedicated Sub all over again?

The Stroud Subscription Rooms remain a vital community asset for the residents of Stroud. OK, it's had, and still does have some issues, many of which I suspect are do to it's being underfunded by The District Council, but, nevertheless it remains a favourite venue for myself and my daughter. We frequently peruse the gallery and use Mr. Twitchets' Cafe in preference to many of the other cafes in town since it offers good value, reasonably healthy nosh, and we can also usually peruse an exhibition, whilst we're about it. I've also been to countless gigs and events upstairs in the main ballroom, and often go into the Tourist Information office. It is also handy for it's disabled toilet, and the building is also accessible to wheelchair users. It would, I believe, be a travesty if the council were to stop funding the building

Please keep the Sub Rooms as a venue for the area. The cafe was also appreciated. What will happen to Tourist Information? Stroud needs a central public hub and venue.

A hub for the arts has been and should continue to be the focal place for entertainment.

Why remove one of Stroud s focal points known as and should remain "The Sub rooms". This is a asset to the council tax payer. If sold off to private enterprise, will there be a reduction in local tax

An essential part of Stroud life and has been for many years. Imperative that the venue is not lost.

This amazing community amenity needs to be kept in public not private hands. Do not sell off this beautiful building and the incredible space which benefits Stroud's vibrant arts and music so well. Pressure should be put on central government for more council funding. This is not the solution to plug funding gaps. Once it's gone, it's gone forever.

The sub rooms are at the heart of Stroud. The town is struggling to stay alive like so many others. Taking away such a major part of the town's public amenities would be a terrible loss. I have been to concerts and even played there as well as used the coffee shop.
