The Subscription Rooms is vital to the community of Stroud. It would be a tragic loss if it were sold to some property developer or somebody that changed its usage. In times of austerity be it public spaces or education it is always the arts that are sacrificed ! In theses troubling and scary times Stroud needs the Subscription rooms where people can come together and share culture and entertainment. It is the hub of Stroud town . PLEASE don't let us lose it !

The subscription rooms offer a unique performance space and community hub, and without it Stroud would be a poorer place. Stroud is well known for its creativity and culture. The loss of such a central arts venue could only damage this reputation, its closure would be very shortsighted.

Whatever the outcome the Subs needs to remain the community hub for Stroud and its concerts and performance base. The SDC needs to make a commitment that this will happen.

Sub rooms are a focal centre for a variety of functions in central Stroud. They are historic and very important to the population. Under no circumstances should they be closed.

It is a very iconic building in the centre of Stroud and it would be a shame to see it close, if it won't be a creative venue anymore what will it become?
