How is the city able to give away free land valued at $4.5 Million? Where can I get free land too?

As a resident of Logan Square for 30 years (27 renting in the same spot), I have lost many beloved neighbors due to developer speculation and hikes in rent. I rent too, but my building is own by a couple of nice people who own the restaurant below me. I support affordable and low income housing in my area. I am sick of losing my longtime neighbors.

We need more examples of 100% affordable housing in our gentrifying and soon to be gentrifying neighborhoods, let’s let this set the precedent.

As someone who’s hitting 65 affordable housing is even more important to me. I hate to see neighborhoods be gentrified. So many areas I can’t afford anymore and I work too
I support thus project!
Long overdue!
