This is totally unacceptable. A clear case of bullying council tactics to push forward a stupid expensive failure. I certainly will not tolerate my neighbourhood looking like a wheely bin commune!!

We do not need all these unsightly bins what is happening to the old ones AND what about all the rubbish from supermarket packaging so unnecessary. AND 5 million expenditure on new bins is an utter outrage!!!

The new wheelie bins will not be an improvement but an unsightly eyesore.
We are happy with the current arrangements, there is no reason to incur expense, disruption and and unsightly ruination of our front gardens and streets.
Please keep the status quo!

Apart from the appearance of such 'bins' and the problem of where to put them, the public health disaster of having rubbish 'hanging about' for two weeks is unacceptable, whatever the ambient temps.
The disposal of the redundant bins is a potential problem and seems 'mad'.

The scheme has not been thought through and residents not consulted. It will be a disaster for our borough and ruin the look of our streets.

A deeply flawed decision which needs to be reversed.

Imagine how smelly and unsanitary the bins would have been sitting around for 2 weeks at a time in the recent 30* + temperatures — DISGUSTING!

I have no room in the front garden to put these huge wheelie bins the Labour Council are proposing. I am not prepared to consecrate to make way for these bins as I care for the local environment. We are losing trees from this area all the time including two trees the council has removed from our street, leaving one tree stump. There seems to be no plans to replace these trees. I feel the Labour are behaving like environmental thugs.

There are enough problems with foxes on our weekly collection. Any extension will only compound the situation.

Moving to less than weekly collections will leave rotting rubbish in our community, it is a ludicrous idea. I would expect a reduction in my council tax if this goes ahead; but vehemently oppose this stupid idea.

Central government siphoning off council tax and councils destroying services. Things should improve not get worse. That's why we have representatives.
