One size fits all bins not logical. I toss a couple of catalogues in the paper bin. 180L wheelie bin overkill and an eyesore. This is likely not true for my neighbour who has loads of people living there and generate a huge amount of rubbish. I sense chaos in October.

To receive half the service and still pay the same amount is ridiculous enough. But to expect residents to have the space for large wheelie bins (what about people living in flats? On the High Street for example?) is another. And just to top it all off this will attract more pests and pollute our local area even more, I dread to think of what our streets will look like if the bins end up full before collection time.

We are assiduous recyclers but the new general waste bin is too small for our five-adult household, and our request for a larger bin has been ignored.

Don't create enough waste for a wheely bin in a month and don't have room to store a wheely. existing system perfectly satisfactory.

New bins will be large and unnecssary for many people and too big for easy storage. Also we all have bins already so no need to spend money supplying new ones and a dreadful waste to throw away the existing bins. We do not need fabric collection as there are plenty of charities already doing this. Altogether a ridiculous waste.

Weekly collections minimise vermin. Smelly bins will cause greater friction between neighbours

I am in France at the moment in a very small town, rubbish is collected regularly, weekly, with the economy of scale, surely it can be done in Wimbledon!

Wheelie bins are ridiculous. I only have a very small bag of rubbish each week. My neighbours have 4 children and a bi-weekly collection is ridiculous and smelly. What a load of rubbish this council is - follow the crowd!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not permitted to leave my existing (much smaller) bins on the footway on collection days. Where do the council propose I leave the new bins without totally obstructing garden path and access / egress to and from my front door?

I am relieved that I no longer have children in nappies as the smell of storing used nappies in the summer heat will be terrible.
The new system means we will once again have to separate paper/card from glass/plastics - at least it would be better if we could put everything in the wheelie bin rather than keep boxes on the go as well. This happens in the Dorking area so I don’t understand why we need so many containers.
We already have a wheelie bin for our rubbish - what a waste to have to throw that out to make way for the new one.
The food recycling system has problems as the squirrels chew the containers and the food often ends up strewn around the street so it’s a mixed blessing. We usually balance a paving slab on top of it and have had it replaced several times.

Why are we paying Council Tax if we are not getting adequate services. Bin Collection is a serious hygienic requirement for residents.

What am I paying nearly £300 a month in council tax for without weekly rubbish collection and clean streets.
This is a fundamental requirement. We are leaving the EU and no longer have to follw the 2006 waste directive aigned up to by Blair.

No way, the road is an eyesore without adding these to the very small front gardens.
