Please maintain weekly collections. Every two weeks is ridiculous

With this scheme Wimbledon will become as unsightly as Kingston in a lot of the smaller streets. For myself I do not have space for 2 wheelie-bins.

The wheelie bins won't fit thru my garden gate I the new bins will have to sit out front ALL WEEK LONG?!?! This is absurd and I do not want a big bin. The current system works just fine for our family

Rubbish collection is a big issue on Revelstoke Road. There is rubbish all over the streets, bins are packed out, people abuse the use of bins and the park is a mess - get a grip and sort it out. You get enough money from firework displays and the tennis so get a grip.

I have purchased a large green wheelie bin from the council at considerable cost to me and on their advice as this was the new colour for general waste. This will be obsolete from October but I doubt there will be any refund from the council. Why not make any existing bins acceptable.

Wheelie bins are totally unnecessary Who did your analysis to prove they are a requirement and fortnightly collections are justified? Its obviously flawed. For those residents who don't have any storage area its going to be a disaster!

In small properties particularly these huge bins will be unwieldy, unsightly, unhygienic and awkward for older residents. How can an older person be expected to drag such a full heavy bin up or down an incline when they live on a hill or significant slope.

Please don't do this - we don't have the space for wheelie bins, nor do we want festering rubbish all over Merton

If there are still more costings YOU need to inform us other wise its just a POLITiCAL isssue not a realistic approach.
There are many who will not be able to store or handle the new bins, I understand that they will be accommodated so how will that work? If new vehicles are to be purchased, finally will jobs be affected ?

Merton is a very dirty unkempt borough, please do the job you're there to do which is for the benefit of the residents not yourselves.
