I'm all for reducing waste and protecting the environment but the recent change is really stupid. Why on earth do we need another large bin for paper? Our household certainly doesn't as we don't subscribe to any print and it would never get more than 2% full. Also space in front of our house is limited already. Wouldn't it make more sense to provide larger communal bins instead individual ones for each household?

Why was this email in my Spam box? I most certainly do not wish to have the new wheelie bins. It is quite un- necessary. The height of the new bins would enable easy access to my property at the rear by using them to jump over my fence.

Textile and battery recycling on a weekly basis is completely unnecessary. There are so many shops that recycle batteries and charity shops take textiles. These 'new' services are a poor attempt to distract from the reduction in essential waste collection. The additional bins will add to an increase in unnecessary plastic objects and clutter the streets as few people have the space to store such items

We are happy with the current bin collection system and want to keep it this way.

General Rubbish bin collection not just recycling needs to be more frequent to 1-2 per week not reduced. There’s always rubbish scattered all over the streets around cannon hill park.

Regular bin collection is required and should be expected given that we pay our taxes for his service. Fortnightly is unacceptable to many with limited space or too little strength to transport two weeks’ of rubbish. It will also lead to more overflowing waste and encourage vermin/foxes.

This change is unhygienic, inconvenient to residents and not properly consulted

We don't have the space to keep 2 wheelie bins, nor do we have the physical ability to haul bins up and down the stepa to our property

I strongly disagree with the fortnightly rubbish collection My family and I Recycle all the time and we still find it hard at the end of the week even though we have three bins full there is no way we are going to be able to have two weeks with three bins

Just where are all these bins going to be placed. Working very well I might say at the moment. If it ain't broke, then don't mend it.
