I agree no fortnightly collection and none off those hidious awful looking things call wheely bins as most houses don't have spaces at front of there house for storage.

Please do not move to forthrightly collections. I live in a neighbour of families and we have just enough space for 3 bins but this already full up at the end of 1 week.

To have a fortnightly collection will be totally hideous especially for families, and during hot spells of weather.
Our streets and the space available between houses and the pavement simply wont accommodate large wheelie bins.
Money would be better spent on much needed weekly street cleaning.

A cynical and politically motivated plan.

Please keep the weekly bin collection and existing bins. I am not keen on having 2 massive wheely bins in my front garden that is less than a metre deep and so won’t have room for the bins! My windows also look straight out onto the garden so I do not want to look straight at the dustbins from my lounge as it’s hardly pleasant! Merton council should concentrate their spending on improving the current collection and keeping the streets clean rather than wasting money on unnecessary bins.

The stench in the summer will be horrific and how do they envisage this working with larger families?

I do not want 3 wheely bins inc gdn plus 2 recycling boxes and a food caddy outside my property - this will bring the house prices down. After parking we can hardly get in our front door without these so I definitely don’t have room being mid terraced.

Yet again a scheme is being imposed on the residents and businesses of the borough without having been thought through. I hope that this can be cancelled if the scheme proves to be unworkable.

We have a small garden already dominated by all the different rubbish bins. The wheelie bins will be unsightly and will ruin the look of the street. In other areas these are often left on the street which is not only unsightly, but a danger and nuisance to the visually impaired or people pushing buggies or wheelchairs. With the existing rubbish collection the team collecting seem unable to put the food waste caddy back within the property boundary and we have had our front wall broken twice wother the recycling wheelie bins that the dustbin men use to collect the recycling. I think that impossing wheelie bins for everyone is ridiculous. Especially as we have hardly anything in our bin each week. I am completely against the wheelie bins being rolled out borough wide.

I don't want to look out of my window and see large wheelie bins. We would need to store them in our front gardens as we have no side access. The whole street will look like a wheelie bin park. Also I am not in agreement with fortnightly collections and would like to continue with the existing arrangements along with weekly street cleaning. If we need our street cleaned at the moment we have to phone up to arrange for it to be done.

I want the weekly bin collections as at present to continue .It is madness for the council to provide wheelie bins which will be an eyesore to see them in Front of a lot of houses

Extra wheelie bins are ludicrous. Some dwellings have nowhere to place them. Elderly lone people cannot manage to move them.

Cost of new system is more than old. Food bins are only used by 50% and will continue weekly
