As a best friend of teacher and I have 2 daughters that are teachers, and one daughter who is an administrator. This is well deserved. Give these teachers what they deserve!!!

Parent of Joe Henderson child. Hand picked to move to this city becuase of high rating in school standards all of Solano. I hope we do not lose these great teachers. I hope the district leaders will give Benicia teachers what is due them.

The school board should really be doing what is best for the students- and that is paying our teachers a competitive salary! Our kids won't receive the education the deserve until our education professionals are paid for the work they do instead of being expected to go beyond their contract requirements without compensation. Shame!

BUSD pays significantly less than other local school districts. We lose teachers every year (especially at BHS), and can't even hire enough new people to adequately staff our math and Spanish departments. Disgraceful.

If we expect to keep Benicia a great school district then our teachers most certainly deserve a 4.75% raise!!! Common sense.
