Pay BUSD Teachers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

Stand up for our children's and the community; support our teachers. Stop being so cheap and spend the money needed to keep our excellent educators.

Teachers deserve to paid for all of their hard work and dedication.

In my opinion, there is no other single job in this town more important, and with more challenges, than that of a public school teacher. They deserve, at the very least, pay commensurate with their peers in neighboring districts. Our children deserve fairly-paid teachers and a quality education, as well.

Our schools are great because of our teachers.

I have mentored students at Liberty High School for me the last 7 years, and have volunteered at Mary Farmer for 3 years. I personally know the dedication of teachers.

Benicia's teachers are amazing! We need to keep them.

I live in the 94510 area. My 3 grandchildren attend Mathew Turner school. I believe they deserve the 4.75 raise!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we expect to maintain great school to teach the children of this community we need to compensate their worth.

Get these great teachers the pay they deserve

Please ensure our teachers are fairly and competitively compensated so future generations can access the quality of education I received from kindergarten through high school in Benicia.

As we all know, the bay area is an expensive to live. If teachers are not paid a reasonable salary and provided with needed benefits, the good ones will leave the area. Teachers work hard and should be paid fairly.

All teachers should be paid the same, if not more as any highly paid profession.

Please increase Benicia teachers salaries so they can focus on the students and not others stuff.

Give the teachers a fair and competitive wage.

I am not a Benicia parent, but I support the efforts of teachers to have increased compensation in their more than meritorious struggle. School Districts too often blithely say that they support teachers, but do so little to make that meaningful support. Every time pay is at issue, the District claims not to have money. This is unacceptable! Prioritize and provide the meager wage increase being asked of you. Sincerely,
