It is sad that a Nursing Program would be taking away from our inner city school. Inadequate facilities should not be a reason to dispose of a promising program. Please keep the program here at LASC. Go Cougaras.

The nursing program can be vital and what ever promised needs to be carried out. I know this career provides a lot and if this were to be available in its full capacity, it can save and change lives. This is the most accessible campus, we need it.

The distric should do what is right and ethical by the Los Angeles Southwesr College. It’s a disgrace that people have to beg for equity.

Nursing Programs are needed. So many programs have been removed or not implemented. It is time to support those individuals who are interested in this profession to achieve their goal. We must meet the needs of those attending higher learning institutions at the community colleges.

When I think of the nursing program, Mr. Amey comes to mind. He has been very influential to the students, and they have one of the best programs throughout Southwest college. Nursing is the best and has become very popular as well.

Please save the nursing program, it is desperately needed especially in this community for those students that cannot afford the high tution at the other schools. Nurses like myself who have retired need these younger nurses to replace us.
