Teachers efforts are focused on the students , their well being, engagement and learning. This takes all our time and thought - far beyond our working hours. Do not distract us from this with, at this time, pointless exercises that are not at root driven by concern for the students in the pandemic.

An inspection at this time is futile. The FE sector needs support at this time, not judgement.

As if it was not enough that we are stressing because students are not engaging, we are being told to teach full timetable online, pairing personal life and work life at home is complicated, we are pressed by management to do all these extra things on top of teaching, we also need to worry and stress about Ofsted?????? NO!!!

Incredible at a time of national crisis that OFSTED want to pressure teachers even more. It shows you what the government and OFSTED think about teachers. Just wait until we return on the 8th March to do this.

Ofsted should be asking the SM what have they done to support teachers with the workload and responsibility of supporting students during such stressful and unstable times. They will see that SM have been piling on demands to ensure they impress Ofsted at our cost.
Support not monitoring please
