This is the wrong time to make judgement on schools and Colleges, with so much outside pressure. This can wait until teaching is on site.

I and my students are experiencing pbs online I really do not neeed the extra stress of Ofsted. The feedback from the last inspection was appalingly unprofessional, very badly written. I have no trust about Ofsted’s agenda here.

This is a highly inappropriate time to demand an inspection. Great Britain is in a pending state of confusion at the moment, particularly when it comes to education and the staff & students who are a part of any establishment. To be judged on performance when our working practices have been in a constant oscillating state of instability for health, work and working safety is not only unorthodox and extremely antagonising to staff who have worked hard to make the best of a bad situation.

It is unbelievable that in these unprecedented circumstances we currently find ourselves in, there are people and organisations so completely automatized and dehumanised, deciding to carry out inspections only focusing on ticking boxes, ignoring the extra pressure this brings to us, teachers (pawns), and completely blind to all the effort and the hard work we are investing to support the students and carry out our jobs in these adverse circumstances. No wonder why teachers leave the profession. If this visit is about management’s role and performance, why are not managers alone assessed rather than teachers? Why are staff not asked their opinions on what we need to better support the students and whether we are receiving this from our management structure, at all levels? Why are we not provided more ALS staff to support the students outside the classroom rather than just allowing the students extra time to do their work? This will actually make a difference to the student’s progress.
