I have lived in Original Northwood my entire life, currently 24. I don't see a problem with making the shopping center something nice to have to actually service the communities around it. Morgan State students are fine. It's ridiculous that a group opposes this. I guess they love how "awesome" the shopping center is now. Oh and did I forget to mention Morgan State students live across the street. Wow! They already use the shopping center. What an unfortunate group of people to oppose this great idea.

This project is desperately needed for our community!

This project makes complete sense to me, every other University is critical to the community that surrounds them, so should be Morgan.

I am interested in opening a full service salon at the complex. I inquired about the salon on site now, I was told that development was underway. I would like to be considered after renovations are complete. Thank you in advance, Anissa Matthews

Here's my support for the shopping center redevelopment.

This plaza will do several things: Bring revenue to city and state tax base Allow for safe walking to the market Improve house values Attract professionals to the neighborhood Support our LOCAL college Ease the Parking Crisis especially in SNOW END the "food desert" in our neighborhood Restore CIVIC PRIDE

This is a "much-needed" project for the surrounding Morgan community. The current blight in this strip plaza is unacceptable and offers area residents no other choice but to commute else where for shopping and dining options.

What are the negatives? Seems like a great idea for all involved!
