As a Morgan Alum I support this project

I have to question the responsibility & committment to diversity of an elected official who arbitrarily decides not to include provisions for Morgan State students to be a part of the community's revitilization efforts.

I am a MSU alumni and DESIRE to see positive changes to the Northwood shopping center. Not only should the neighborhood benefit from the development, but STUDENTS (via housing) should as well.

Siging petition in support of remodeling Northwood Shopping Center with housing for Morgan State University students.

Something has to be done with that center. It is horrible! If they have a good selection of retail, then, perhaps, it will be a great idea, but, it really depends on their choice of stores, etc. and the presence of security. Basic strip malls have not worked, since the days when Hechingers was there, and before when the Hecht Co. There is nothing to attract the public. Although I would be okay with Morgan, we still will need a good combination of practical, successful and interesting establishments--not just a student playground.

I fully support this redevelopment project.

It would breath some life into an otherwise blighted shopping center.

I sounds like an excellent opportunity for residences of NE Baltimore. My only concern would that it may be too congested.
