Being an EMS wife, I totally support this bill. Ems is just as deserving as fire and police.

I am one of the over 3,000 state certified EMTs who left after the COVID 19 pandemic came to a close. I threw away 16 years of my life to the residents of NJ and for what, to not receive the proper Recognition for putting my life and my family‘s life on the line to treat those who needed it and the fact that we are not considered central employees like police and fire to where we damn near do the same job and that we can’t get retirement for said job is a slap in the face and an absolute disgrace.
