My husband and I recently stayed at the Lodge and wanted to bring our boat and stay a few extra days in the area, but without easy access to a dock, we decided not to. The area lost out on the additional spending we would have done had we stayed longer.

A dock here should be a clear and easy decision, as outlined within the petition. Increased safety, minimal water traffic impact, support to local businesses, increased value to what Lake Hartwell provides to locals and visitors. There are some other great examples on the lake and look at those results. All in!

I am fully in support of the new dock at this location. As we walk the property myself, husband and several friends we just so happened to discuss how a dock was the only thing missing there. Everything the else was perfect and we enjoyed our stay.
