I taught with Taylor for many years at Eisenhower Elementary. She has the wonderful combination of a solid knowledge of curriculum, dedication, and heart that makes her a very special teacher.

Taylor Kuczynski is an extraordinary teacher and role model. It is unfathomable that her contract would be non-renewed without cause. Make no mistake, there have been no behavioral or performance issues. Her reviews have been unilaterally excellent from both students and peers. She has given Manhattan Middle School every ounce of her efforts and demonstrated exceptional talent and work ethic inside, and outside, the classroom. It is an inexcusable failure of the administration and the system if this is allowed to happen.
Mr. Riggs, please note that the students, parents, and entire community stand behind Taylor Kuczynski, and we ask that you reconsider this decision to not renew her contract.

Taylor Bale Kuczynski is an amazing art teacher with a deep level of commitment to her students. She is enthusiastic and generous with her time. She is the kind of teacher that goes the extra milewill use her own money to make sure her students have the materials they need for class, when the school budget cannot supply them. Mrs. Kuczynski has inspired our son to find a far higher level of artistic talent than we had suspected he possessed. We are devastated at the prospect of losing her and want to show our support for this outstanding educator.

I was sad and angry to learn that Ms.Kuczynski’s contract was not renewed. She is an incredible art teacher and a kind and caring person. In Ms. K's class our daughter created art that I had no idea she was able to do. Ms.K also inspired in her a love, understanding of, and curiosity about the arts which I think will be life long. I can't thank Ms.K enough for the passion she brings to teaching and the time attention she devotes to her students.
