I am an alumni of both Ingleside Middle School and Arcadia High School. The Scottsdale Unified School District and education in Arizona as a whole greatly benefits from teachers like Mr. Peterson.

It would be a poor reflection on SUSD and Arcadia if they were to lose a high-quality educator such as Mr. Peterson.

Mr. P was one of my favorite teachers that I have ever had. He came to a good amount of my hockey games for the Arcadia hockey team even though it was only a club team and not supported by the school; just because he was a hockey fan and my friend. It would be a shame for kids to not learn from this wonderful teacher!

I am shocked and appalled that anyone in their right mind would want to terminate a scholar like Mr. Peterson. Not only did he inspire me to become a teacher, but he genuinely cares for his students. His teaching methods were thought provoking and his material relevant. Mr. Peterson is and will always be an excellent teacher. I graduated in 2006 and to this day, I tell stories of his class, how he is the best leader and that any teenage was lucky to have him at Arcadia.

Mr. P was one of the only teachers I had actually made me want to go to class. It takes a huge heart, patience, and talent to keep a whole classroom of students motivated. It really is sad that these parents now a days want their kids to love in such a small bubble being fed a bunch of foofoo nonsense and that people like Mr. P are looked down apon for being real. Mr. P you have my support 100%!

I have not taken a seat in Mr. P's classroom in 13 years. I remember his class like it was yesterday, he was THAT incredible of a teacher. SUSD is foolish for even entertaining this allegation and proposed termination. A teacher like Mr. Peterson is a rare find and not a single high school kid should lose out on an opportunity to learn from him. My youthful dreams of becoming a writer never came to fruition, but they did in his class, and he challenged us all. I don't doubt for one second that 13 years later Mr. p is still giving his all in that classroom and changing lives like he did with me all those years ago.

I graduated from Arcadia in 2008 and had Mr Peterson my freshman year. I remember his class like it was yesterday, Mr. P taught with an enthusiasm and passion that made english incredibly enjoyable. It seems surreal that ANYBODY would demand his termination. He was the greatest teacher I ever had.

I attended Arcadia from 2004-2008 and although I did not have a class with him, I have heard nothing but good things about him. I hope this is not a disgruntled parent creating fire because their child failed. My little sister had him and he was her #1 favorite teacher and has positively affected her after graduation

Mr. P taught me how to understand and interpret literature in a way that made it exciting for me to read. I am forever grateful for everything that I gained from his class.

Mr. Peterson was an amazing teacher. Yes he was challenging but we signed up for an honors class, what are you expecting. His class will always be one of my favorites. We need teachers like him to challenge us kids to think a little differently.

Mr. P's english class fostered conversation about literature/short stories/life better than many of my college courses. Not only did I feel better prepared for courses in a university environment because of this class, I became like a better person.
I Support Mr.Peterson!!!!!!!!
